Intellectual property
The texts, photos, illustrations, logos and downloadable documents on this site belong to LPI Quality Limited or are used with their authors’ permission. Reproducing them in whole or in part without written permission is prohibited, except for short quotations that name the source and link to the page.
Public data in the Observatory
The tools of the Quality Observatory use public data: Safety Gate alerts from the European Commission, RappelConso recall notices (Etalab Open Licence 2.0) and Eurostat foreign trade statistics (Comext). LPI formats this data without changing its substance; the official source prevails.
Terms of sale
LPI’s services are governed by its terms and conditions (PDF), under Hong Kong law. The information on this site, prices included, is indicative and is not an offer: only an accepted quotation binds LPI.
Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data LPI collects on this site, why, and how to exercise your rights. It applies the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for people in the European Union and the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Client data (orders, inspection reports) is processed under the contract, as set out in the terms and conditions. The client platform (registration and login) is a separate service, hosted by its provider.
Recipients and processors
Your data is never sold or rented. Only the LPI team reads it, and it is passed on, solely to provide the service, to the providers that make it possible: the website host (Cloudflare), the form delivery service and the newsletter tool (Brevo, France). Some data may be accessed from Hong Kong or stored in the United States; these transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and does not track your browsing. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts servers, which receive your IP address when they are loaded. Cloudflare may set a technical cookie for site security; it is strictly necessary and does not require consent.
Your rights
You can access, correct or erase your data, ask for a portable copy, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time (every newsletter has an unsubscribe link). Write to contact@lpi-quality.com: we reply within one month. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can complain to your country’s data protection authority (the CNIL in France, the PCPD in Hong Kong).
